Publication Frequency

The Saudi Journal of Medicine and Public Health (SJMPH) is published biannually, with two issues released each year:

  • Issue 1:June
  • Issue 2:December

Special issues may be published occasionally to highlight emerging topics, conference proceedings, or thematic collections of high-impact research.

8. Open Access

The Saudi Journal of Medicine and Public Health (SJMPH) is an open-access journal, ensuring that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or access fees. Authors retain copyright of their work, and articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

This open-access policy reflects SJMPH’s commitment to advancing knowledge, supporting global research visibility, and promoting equitable access to scientific information.

9. Plagiarism

SJMPH maintains a zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using advanced plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and integrity.

  • Direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and data fabricationare strictly prohibited.
  • Authors must properly acknowledge and cite all sources of data, figures, and previously published ideas.
  • Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized material will be rejected immediately. In cases of confirmed plagiarism after publication, the article will be retractedand authors may face restrictions on future submissions.
